Join us every Thursday starting at noon inside the market for some delicious samples prepared in house. After enjoying these great samples, feel free to take the recipe sheet provided and try it at home! All of the fresh ingredients sampled can be purchased right here at the market for you to enjoy.

  March 15th – Mushroom Tapenade

Roast below ingredients in oven at 350 for 20 minutes.

2 cups chopped mushrooms (best with a mix of shitake, portobello and cremini)

3 sprigs of chopped thyme

2 whole garlic cloves

3-4 tblsp oil

1/3 cup of wine or beer

Let mushroom mixture cool.


1 tablespoon capers

1 tablespoon cider vinegar

Fresh tarragon

1 tablespoon maple syrup

Blend all ingredients together in a food processor. (If you don’t have food processor, mince everything together into small even pieces with a knife)

Serve as a spread with your favourite bread.
